My vote goes to Pacific Coast Highway. The solo in the middle of the song is absolutely perfect.

Years ago there was a big huge convoluted process of elimination and it was discovered that NYCG+F was the most well liked Sonic Youth song.
My favourite SY song is the live version of Shaking Hell from the Kill Yr Idols EP, my favourite Thurston song is probably Candle and favourite Lee is probably Hoarfrost. And my favourite thing without vocals is the one off Evol. |

JC. I could almost cry everytime I listen to it. Its SO heartfelt. You can really feel that the whole band's soul lost something because of Joe's death.
