i'll confess to having liked some earlier-day episodes, which i originally checked out because the creator appeared in charlie rose-- the show wasn't too terrible (as tv goes anyway) and it was, oh, easy on the yes. but after seasons & seasons, who knows what crap...? (i, personally, have no clue)

Seconded on the shit-eating show. I don't even bother watching TV anymore, it's too...commerical. I rent 6 Feet Under and watch everything else on dailyepisodes

mang if you rent tv i wholeheartedly recommend "the wire", best show ever, i swear, fucking great.

It was doomed once Mischa Barton quit. I watched the episode where she was hanging out in skimpy "teen" clothes* in front of the fireplace with her lesbian friend. It was hot then Mischa's character wouldn't go through with it. C'mon, a little bumpin pretties never hurt anyone.

ok, fuck all of you, i liked the oc big fucking time, granted, season three was slow as hell, but the first two seasons? hilarious!!! best teen whatever the fuck, 90210 doesn't come close, dawson's creek? bunch of pretentious ass scripts with abyssmal acting, the only thing that comes close is season one of saved by the bell and that's because it was surreal as shit (it was like sesame street for 12 year olds). sure, their music taste was awful on the most part, actually, i really can't see why it got a rap so big for being so indie rocker or whatever, same with gilmore girls (can they cancel that one too? i forgot how long it's been since it hasn't sucked). anyway i'm glad, i'm enjoying the reruns too much.

what gets me on my tits is when people confuse the oc with laguna beach, the later of which will cause someone to bomb california.

I only watched The O.C. during the second season when they had that one chick hook up with the other girl. Mishca or whatever did nothing for me, but the girl she hung out with, she was cute. Everything was going fine and then I heard they cut her character out completely, again, not Mishca but the other girl. Never watched it for the music, never watched it for the quirky banter between the not too hip kid and his more hip father. Or to see if the bad boy will make good. I just thought the guest star in the second season was cute. It was probobly a decent show when it first started but the show just seemed to take a quick nose-dive in quality, even faster then most shows. By the third season the show felt like a has-been.
