A friend of mine managed to buy Vein for a good price on eBay, and brought it round to my place.
It's a beautiful album.

boris... i like some of their albums (pink and akuma no uta...most) but some stuff is either too cliché stoner rock or too cliché japanese noise...my opinion

actually the girl in the first pic is Kazu Makino (blonde redhead) and that is a baritone guitar, not a "regular" one, i love that too but i can't remember the brand.

Funny. I just posted what came up on google image search when i typed in "wata boris"... though they look similiar in that pic, her hair is a bit longer.. heh.

Girls are both hot, but Boris is not a good band. They make my ears bleed and my face itch. Some people might think this is a good thing. I am not one of those people.

maybe it's possible they have different vibes because they're two different entities. that doesn't change my opinion that, en masse, one group's total output was better than the other's. i still liked what sonic youth did in 2006, a whole lot, but boris had a really amazing year.

I'm listening to Pink on www.deezer.com and I'm wondering if Boris haven't stolen the Pumpkins gear from the Mellon Collie era :D I mean the guitar distortion and the drums sound alike a lot.
