Sonic Youth makes their first announcement of live shows for 2007 beginning with these 2 dates on the East Coast:

February 14 Northampton, MA | The Academy of Music

February 16 New York City | Webster Hall

And then, as previously announced, the band travels to Japan in April to play three times with the tremendous Vooredoms:

April 17 Osaka | Namba Hatch
April 18 Nagoya | Diamond Hall
April 20 Tokyo | Studio Coast

you know that's a good question. I wonder if they'll still be a lot of songs from rather ripped in the show or not.

My guess is they are going to play Daydream nation as their re-issue is coming out.

I checked the Lupos site. Unless for some reason they don't update the website, they might have doubled booked it accidentally. If that were to happen they might move it to the Living Room, which would be AWESOME.
