Saw him play in town a few times, intense playing when he would get into it. I do remember one show when he seemed to enjoy watching the other players more than actually playing himself. Ecstatic Peace records put him on my radar...now I remember I played that single on my WRUV radio show circa 97 and realizing I used to play some crazy and brutal stuff, I got more angry calls about that record than anything else I ever played. That being Vermont, it was about 3 calls, but since I usually got none, it was memorable.
