Hmm, try this Buzzo.

-Click start -> run
-type in "dxdiag"
-click the display tab

Near the bottom under "DirectX features" make sure that all 3 are set to enabled.

king_buzzo 02.17.2007 01:02 PM

no its still gay

Inhuman 02.17.2007 01:18 PM

alright, go back to dxdiag, and click the "directx files" tab. At the bottom, there should be a while box labeled "notes". What does it say?

king_buzzo 02.17.2007 01:23 PM

says no problems found.

Inhuman 02.17.2007 02:17 PM

try reinstalling directX, and your graphics drivers as well

king_buzzo 02.17.2007 02:18 PM

whats a graphics driver?

king_buzzo 02.17.2007 03:18 PM

come on come on come ooon.

you know it costs 50 bucks to email microsoft? craaazy!

Inhuman 02.17.2007 03:21 PM

It's the software part of a graphics card.
So, right click My Computer
select Properties
select Hardware tab
click the Device manager button

There should be an expandable menu in here called "Display Adapters". Expand it.

If it's NVIDIA, then go here and select the model you have, and install it
If it's Radeon, then go here and select your model. and install.

The reasoning for this is, your display adapter may not be compatible with your DX version, so updating it may help

king_buzzo 02.17.2007 03:28 PM

i really dont wanna mess with that shit. if i fuck up my parents are gonna rape me.

king_buzzo 02.20.2007 08:26 AM

okay, i updaded the graphics driver, and nothing happened

what is the express chipset? a new driver? if so will it work with this card?

alyasa 02.20.2007 08:32 AM

The express chipset is the name of the whole thing inside yr computer that's holding everything together, including yr graphics card, your CPU, your memory, everything. It's the name of your motherboard. It should work as that's from the makers of your motherboard and they are sure to have the latest drivers. Also, make sure you're not running a pirated copy of COD 2... ;-)
