Agreed. Dennis Miller show and Live at Brixton Academy 1991 are awesome documents of the Trompe period. But I can't help but favour stuff from '88/'89... I just love their sound from that time

No love for Incinerate on Letterman? Man I remember that vividly...I didn't even know they were playing that night and I hear it on the intro...I was so excited.

I had a similar experience on Australian TV... this was an awful variety/chat show called Rove Live, all of a sudden SY comes on playing Incinerate... damn they pull a good studio sound on the show

Way back in the day, the first thing I downloaded on Napster was audio of this. I too played the hell out of it, and not just for the novelty of using the amazing new technology.

The show was often a vehicle for the latest Australian Idol contestants to perform... god knows that the backstage crew made of SY at soundcheck.

"...umm do you guys wanna check if your guitars are tuned?"
