what a dumbass bitch. it has nothing to do with gender. those bands she crossed out were actually more influential than those girl bands she wrote in. yeah the bands she wrote in were good but no one outside of the super-hipsters even knows those. however, everyone knows the clash and the sex pistols. fucking new liberals are always looking for fights where there are none. they have nothing left to fight for so they argue about bullshit.

yeah you're so right. what was I thinking. The Slits are way more influential than the Clash. I'm sure you could've attacked my arguments instead of resorting to personal insults cause you're so right. Fuck you're so righteous arguing for such a noble cause... Thanks for proving me right. Much love to you my brother. |

I've been listening to Cut a lot recently. Totally unique and awesome album, one of the best punk records for sure. The drumming is outstanding, and every note just works. The contrast between the raw Peel Sessions and Cut is stark.
They definitely deserve props, but so do a host of other bands, both male and female (The Fall, Raincoats, Wire, This Heat, etc). Don't really see what gender has to do w/ this... the exhibition text named the 3 most well-known English punk bands. They were all male. Big deal. |
