Sick Llama & Thurston Moore - London Live CS & CD Set
http://fagtapes.bigcartel.com/produc...re-london-live
Anyone here pick this up? I would have if I knew about it in time. I was at the show though - a real brain zone contorter, when I think back on it I start hallucinating. Are the CS and CD different recordings? Does Stu know anything about this? |
it's actually Stu's recording used for this release.

Heath still hasn't posted these out but I think the cassette is the show we saw (using my recording) and the cd is a studio recording that Thurston made with Sick Llama. If I can manage to get an extra copy I'll let you know... |
That would be awesome, thanks. I hope the TM/Llama collabing carries on into the future, those guys work great together.

The web said "sold out", but after my inquiry, it's turned out it was a web mistake.
Online purchasing is back online for that item. |
Got this yesterday but I think there's a problem with the cd or at least my copy. Track 2 starts to play but stops after a short time. Anyone else have this problem?
|
Hi. First post - always lurked on here... I've got this too, and the CD sounds dreadful, like so distorted it's not right. is it supposed to be like this? Both tracks play though...
|
My disc works perfectly all the way through. They're both pretty noisy and distorted that's for sure. Reminds me of stuff like Government Alpha, Merzbow, the power electronics scene.

If the discs are not faulty, I'm glad that after all these years noise can still shock us. :) |
I got it sent to a friend in the states, will pick it up from her in 2 months. Excited to hear it.
