ever since i got a loan of Pretty Hate Machine on tape many many years ago off a guy in my french class in school NIN have completely changed how i look at music, the lyrics of Reznor have been a real honest help to me thru some mental times and i dont wanna say that like "oh poor me poor me" but them lyrics, however dressed up or wraped up they are said to me everything is gonna be ok. My 9 year old nephew writes "NIN" all over his school books because he see's it on all my t-shirts and hears me rabbit on about them all the fuckin time (and my nephew is Metallica mad) My father tapes stuff off MTV2 about them if i cant get to see it and then labels the tape "do NOT tape over"

i'm fuckin Nine Inch mad and i understand completely why other people would not like them but fuckin hell i do.

its well worth a trip man, very good show. i saw em 3 times in the UK i just got back from one gig in the UK, but its looking like they are gonna play a festival in ireland that i'm going to this summer so i'm well happy.

they will tour Year Zero, you'll defo get a show somewhere

your sorted, i'd say towards the end of the year, i saw on a NIN forum today that they were supposed to be playing New York around November.

broken is great.

the fragile... the pretty stuff on that album is amazing.

everything else is kinda meh. listenable if not much else.

amazing live, though, and trent is an awesome producer and he actually has an awesome taste in music (he loves idm, brainiac, and all kinds of weird shit).

when the fragile came out, they were my favorite band, i listened to that album so much i got mildly burned on them forever.

but that's still my favorite along with broken.

i got into them thru the downsward spiral, i don't listen to what i used to there anymore, some songs are good, others not so much.

haven't heard pretty hate machine in a while now, should be interesting. and i liked with teeth, although i haven't gotten around to buying it.

anyhoo, they are good live, i was prepared to be blown away and it was a nice arena rock show. recommendable but don't get your hopes up.
