i've had girlfriends more than 15 years my senior. at what age does that sort of age gap become acceptable?

an 18 year old can't get with a 16 year old, but a 20 year old can nail a 70 year old.

this topic reminds me of debates i've had with friends, mostly girls, who think that professor/student relationships are acceptable. to me, it seems that the professors would prey on girls every semester, fresh meat! and the girls would be impressed by their appearance of authority, and be attracted to that, especially when they're made to feel 'special' by the teacher.

wow where am i going with this? probably back to the fridge for another beer...

i can understand why a girl would be attracted to a professor, the authority thing (particularly if he's charming) but i can be kind of dominant so i don't know if that would work out real well.

anyway... back to nambla, since there's apparently so many gay guys on this board, are you attracted to 'young' boys? i won't deny that 15 year old girls are incredibly tempting, of course i'd never act on it, but still... if you're a 40 year old gay man, are you interested in 18 year old boys? isn't that basically what NAMBLA is all about?

As a young fag, I'll say that I'm attracted to older guys (25-40), but that doesn't rule out people below 25.

No NAMBLA is for the younger kind, little kids. I preferably like guys older than I, hence I am dating a 32 year old. But he feels ackward at times, because i am younger.

that usually works out like shit (i've never done it, but i know of a number of cases) because there is a power relation between them-- there's no equality. so it's inherently fucked. it always ends badly.

having said that, susan sontag married her professor when she was, oh, let me see... 10 DAYS after college graduation, when she was 18 (she finished high school at 15), her husband was 28. (they divorced years later though, after they wrote a book and had a child together).

i have to say i would have married sontag even in her deathbed when she was 71... such a wonderful woman... ah, but i digress.

a lil bit of an interesting historical foot note back in roman times on a mans wedding nite his wifes head would be shaved and she would be dressed in militray robes becuz the men would all have young appretience boys whom they would teach the preverbial ropes and also fuck them so they wanted their wives to look like young soliders on there wedding nite
