New Piggly Wiggly Thread
 

We started this last week, but it got lost on an old LA show thread. For those of you who don't know, "Piggly Wiggly" is a chain of grocery stores in the southern United States. The idea is to substitute "Piggly Wiggly" for something else in a Sonic Youth lyric. It doesn't have to make sense, or refer to a store. It just needs to sound good. Let's create something special that all of us can treasure for the rest of our lives. I'll start it off:

"To the extent that I wear Piggly Wigglies and cheap nylon slips, I've gone native..."

Yeah, I take Piggly Wiggly down the street, and I buy him a soda pop.

We always just called it "The Pig."

Ronnie Milsap definitely knows Piggly Wiggly.
