Mine has a different front plate though, it doesn't say "original Cry-baby" in that front it has "cry-baby" raised in the vintage font with no original.

I'm with ya, I can't spend anymore money until I get at LEAST a decent amp...

I think I'm going for a Traynor cause really don't think over 1k for a fender is worth it, although I do love the sound of a twin reverb. But that's still almost 800..ack.

Yeah, I am looking for something around the $500 mark, so you think you've got it tough...

My music guy has offered to get me a Randall 75-watt with reverb and all for $350.

Is that amp tube or solid state?
if thats not tube i wouldn't pay that much for it...
tube amps in general rule over almost any solid state amp.

It's solid state, I think. Randall calls it a Valve-Dynamic. I've also heard it referred to as "Trans-tube"

Edit: I'm really not picky about amps. I just want a bigger amp with reverb. If I had my druthers, I'd have a Fender Twin Reverb, but I'm shelling out a grand for one.

That amp looks sweet. I'll add that to my ever-expanding "things I wish I could afford" list.

I used to make a simple mod on my wah-wah, in changing the sweep of the pedal so it'd go for maximum treble. Got some pretty painful sounds out of it.

I'm just now getting into switching the wah's position. I've placed it in between my 2 distortions, so I have it before or after or even between. It's really neat to do that, it gives it a nice sustained feel

What is the difference? I never knew there was a difference in switching positions (with pedals that is, hehe)

Well, if you put the wah after the distort, you'll a much "sharper" wah sound because you're varying the signal of the distortion. If you put the wah before, you're distorting the already varied signal, so you get less wah sound but it makes for a less drastic and dramatic tone. The placement all depends on how you want it to sound.
Before distortion=more subdued, smoother
After distortion=more dramatic, in yr face.

I have this wah, it is very nice (for the price). On clean, it sounds good and vintage, but when disorted, you can really see how sucky the sweep it. Its good for now, but I want something bigger sounding, like a Vox or a Buddwah
