"Live" Melbourne Radio broadcast
 

A question, is this recording from '89 in Australia the SAME recording that was included in the Deluxe Daydream Nation release as the "Live" disc? I'm sure this has been asked/discussed before but I'm a little slow on the uptake...

I'm assuming you're talking about the Melbourne set that was on DIME a few weeks back? Anyway, the deluxe bonus disc is just combined from a bunch of other live shows in 88/89; but not Melbourne

It's apparently not even from Melbourne in January '89, but was actually recorded at U4, Vienna, Austria, 29th March 1989. But either way, the Daydream Deluxe was a mix of songs from different shows.

If you mean that "Riot in Melbourne" bootleg, it's not really Melbourne but the U4 Vienna gig (29th March '89) previously released as Live in Heaven.
