Holidays planned in 2007
Anyone here got any holidays planned for 2007? I'm planning on doing a trip to South America at the end of this year, taking in Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
I am flying to London to see the Daydream nation gig. That will be about it as for my holiday plans.
No. I'm buying a house, so I won't be going anywhere for a while.
I have work the whole summer so I can't go anywhere. But NEXT summer I'm going down to NYC with tonnes of friends to party.
Slavo - who is the person in your avatar? |
Berlin for a few days in June.
no i've just spend a shit load of money on the price of tickets for two festival's in Ireland, so i'm gonna frquent these and call that my summer holidays.
i do have a weekend in Amsterdam planned with my two chums. |
hey Doktor, I went to yr blog via the link on the Whitehouse forum...
holiday in cambodia
Had to jettison plans for a trip to Afghanistan, for predictable reasons. So, Croatia, possibly somewhere Scandinavian, a weekend in Paris (perhaps), a weekend in North-West Ireland (that is, EIRE, not Northern Ireland) and, with any luck, a week's recording in a cottage in the barren depths of South Wales. All plans are subject to ineptitude's inevitable iron-grip upon my ability to think more than 20 minutes in advance.

Nothing, maybe go to San Francisco on the weekend SOnic Youth Plays in L.A.
San Diego for 20th-23rd of april, then we're driving to L.A. and staying there from the 23rd-27th, and then a bit outside of Palm Springs (for Coachella) from the 27th to the 30th.
June 12th-18th: Tennessee for Bonnaroo Spain, France, and Italy for 2 weeks late June/early July Japan a week after my birthday in august. thats it so far. |
I've just returned home from Devon (Totnes is a nice town) and will be going later this year to Cumbria and the Pyrenees in France. Can't fairly call them holidays as they involve the family which would be the thing I'd be aspiring to 'get away' from, but nevertheless.
Going in my car with my family around europe, were going to a place in spain to see this massive festival with Dino jr and The Stooges. The tickets are going to be 160 for each person, thank god i have a small family. and we might go to france germany and stuff..
I'm spending a lot of the summer in Jersey at my aunts place learning how to surf and taking the boat out, we are going to sail over to france for a weekend too.
Then the sonic youth shows at the end of the summer. |

Glice - if you want to do Scandinavia, I can at least recommend the cities of Stockholm and Oslo, which I both love. Not cheap, though - 7 pounds for a beer in Oslo, and 20 pounds for a pizza! My dad and his wife went to Croatia last year, and they both said how beautiful it was. |
Backpacking the AT a little bit.
