Who else think that Scott Walker rules?
Because not many people seem to.
it's quite clear that he does.
the drift is fucking harrowing. |
he does and most people don't know...
...i myself wasn't aware of this until last year. |
Yes he does.
yes scott walker rules and not enough people know it (or are willing to admit it)
Scott, Scott 2, Scott 3 are great records. We Had It All and Tilt are also worth a listen. I don't know Drift, any good?

You don't like Scott 4 ? |
Less than the first 3, but still a good a place to start if you're not familiar with his music at all.
I've heard nothing but good things about Drift, so am semi-curious about this cat.
Rhymes of Goodbye from Scott 4 is an awesome song.
Oh and I wouldn't know who Jacques Brel was if it wasn't for Scott Walker.
Ive only heard that song in the life aquatic "30th centruy man". It was good, but I never followed up checking out his career.
I like him... plus he's got a cool name.
I thought he was one of those artists it was almost forbidden not to like. I'm surprised he seems here almost to be considered neglected.
definitely great
The Pola X soundtrack is good too.
Yes! Do not start me off.....
Even Bowie said along with Sonic Youth and The Pixies, Walker was his favourite artist of the last 20 years. The great thing about him is at this late stage in his career he's produced argueably his best album. Very few can say that, maybe Johnny Cash. |
Yep, his new album is excellent. Well worth checking out.
