Remember that “Confuse Yr Idols” tribute to Sonic Youth from the mid-2000s? Well, there was a pretty good Shadow of a Doubt cover by this group called Brystl, and I have some vague memory of knowing who was involved in that band, but I’ve forgotten.
I have googled and searched and it appears as though this one cover track is all they did, and no other info seems to be available. No Wikipedia, no streaming, nothing.
Anyway, it’s bothering me. Does anyone know/remember who the fuck Brystl was?

It’s not (though it is off-putting since I spent most of my life in cities), but I’m on my phone, so that could be part of it. Will try on Mac.

Still really wondering about this band Brystl. I feel like they’ve even been discussed on this very forum before, goddammit
