i know this aint a popular subject for sy boardies but there is a few out there who will appreciate the memory............................

1st may 1994- a hero to millions and to myself was taken from us live on international televison. millions watched as he crashed into the wall on the corner of curva tamburello on the imola park race circuit in italy during the 7th lapof the san marino grand prix.............. he is still a hero to millions and to me....

13 years? Really? It seems like much longer ago.

his was the last driver fatality in f1. although 2 marshals were killed by debris since. monza 2000 and melbourne 2001 after being hit by the rear tyre of jaques villeneuves BAR in afrightenly sickening accident almost identical to the one which his father was killed in in 1982.
