The Ornette Colenan of this rap shit

Ive started listening to The Shape of jazz to come. I Dont listen to Jazz and it makes perfect sense like an insane one way conversation. And i can see what Beans was on about too.

i cant remember the name of the album but it is a double quartet playing at the same time, one on the right side of the stereo and one on the left. you can pan either side and they both make complete sense and running it centrally also makes complete sense, it is absolute genius...

Ack, Miles Davis isn't cool at all man. His wife was about 10 times cooler at least...

i love mile's music but the guy was a smackie who beat his wife, lol unintentional double entendre

Iain 05.30.2007 08:06 AM

Yeah...she beat him as well though. Although at his insistence I believe. There's a track on one of Betty Davis's record about how Miles liked to be beaten. It's called He Was A Big Freak or something like that.
