J Mascis acoustic setup
 

Sorry to start up another dino thred if not necessary. I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of stuff J uses when he plays solo acoustic? I'm thinking of possibly trying something simular for an upcoming show and am just wondering. I'm used to running my acoustic thru the PA system, but I imagine that kind of distortion with it wouldn't be good and would fuck with the vocals. So I guess it's just any general advice really on how I should setup should I choose to do it like this.

Ahh, I was the one that first posted this here!
I remember a couple years ago playing some open mic nights with a classical style guitar hooked up to a Big Muff. It was great fun.

Left to right
SansAmp Bass Driver-->Boss TU2-->ZVEX Purple Lo-Fi Loop Junkie-->Ibanez
Analog Delay-->ZVEX Purple Fuzz Factory.

Don't know what amp he uses with his acoustic but it looks like its either a Fender Deluxe Reverb or a '59 Fender Twin.

J. asks Lee to come up to sing with him. Lee looks uncomfortable, his vocal can't even be heard at all really, and Mascis seems unconcerned throughout.
