Also, I remember on AMC or something years ago seeing some late night schlock film that was really scary. Please help me figure out what it was.

Here is all I can remember about the movie:

I think the movie was made in probably the 60's or 70's. It was color, and had a pretty low production value. Think "Manos: Hands of Fate" type production value. Sort of similar movie. I think the plot went something like this: 4ish teenagers in the woods for some reason, maybe having a picnic or making out. They deal with heavy amounts of the occult and a really scary sort of demonic girl that is truely evil. The thing that scared me about the movie is that the antagonist really did seem truely evil and perverted when I saw it. I remember very little about the film, but I can sort of see it in my head.

The way that the scenes are shot. The shower scene, the stairs scene, the basement scene, and the final scene in which Mrs. Bates has completely taken over Norman's mind and you can hear what he is thinking are all very well done scenes that have remained scary to me. Even when you know what is coming.

there was this fucking psycho japanese movie i saw a while back.. something with a girl holding a huge needle. that's all i've chosen to retain.
