Are SY coming to Israel?
 

My friend called me before telling me she read that they might come to a lame festival with My Chmical Romance, Muse etc.. Can anyone confirm? Moshe, the stage is yours :D

it was written that there were some initial contacts, nothing definite, though.

It is more than rumors. There are some french promoters (http://www.laroutedurock.com/pages/booking.htm) who plan to organize a few days festival in Israel in late September. Sonic Youth is on their list alongside Muse, PJ Harvey, Nick Cave and the Rapture.

today in yedioth ahronot they had an article about all of the people coming to israel this summer and SY was listed as a rumor.
everybody get their stooges tickets?

That festival is not happening so I guess no SY for us this summer.
