I got my local Best Buy's one and only Daydream copy...Schwing!
 

My morning started out crappily...with a doctor's appointment that I ran late for. Then on my way out of the neighboring city where his office is located I remembered that Daydream Nation came out today and I still had an X-mas gift card for the local Best Buy.

I was one of the first to arrive in the store, but to my dismay I saw that there were no copies of the reissue. I asked the girl on the floor about it, assuming they hadn't been filed away yet... turns out I was right, and she went on to say, "you're in luck we only got one copy in!"

I ended up being late for work due to the pit-stop but I didn't care. Life can be sweet :)


But why exactly did they only get one copy???? I've already seen them carrying like 6 of the Goo reissue.

Well, you see, when I first thought that there were no copies available, I began shouting obscenities at her. When she looked at me like a deer in headlights I became even angrier...beating her down. It wasn't until she started spitting up dark blood that I managed to gain my composure... then she was kind enough to lead me to the CD :)

The first problem is going to Best Buy to buy music yet alone anything else...

but i understand that pending on where you are, it was the best option... in that case i've usually found amazon.com to be a good place when all else fails.

I've completely given up on going to a "store" to buy ANYTHING! Best Buy included. I can't ever find what I'm looking for. Even Newbury Comics, a pretty hip local chain here in the northeast U.S., didn't have the new Midnite Snake album and couldn't even order it for me! SHEEESH! They have just about everything else and the Birdman label is NOT difficult to come by. I buy online all the time now. There's no point in hitting stores.
