What do you look for in a potential girl/boyfriend
 

I'm interested in knowing what people look for. I don't know if this thread was done before, but I couldn't find one.

For me:
-Happiness
-Surreal sense of humor
-Very interested in the arts/ creative (music, visual arts, movies, etc)
-Politeness
-Attractiveness
-Open for conversation of any subject
-Spontanious with plans

Does this sound like I'm asking too much? I have people that like me but I turn all of them down becuase it just doesn't "click", and I feel like an asshole for it. Let me know what yours are!

What about the gays?

laughs, fun, trust and immence good looks. i guess someone who is interested in something but doesnt let it take over their life. just a good honest person.

i don't really like dating people with the same taste in music. that way we each bring something new to the music discussion, instead of talking about the same 5 bands. it's good to know that they're interested in the music i'm interested in, though. i guess that's an odd balance to try and strike.

*Weird sense of humour (note; not "random," because that is fucking stupid, but silly and sporadic and fun-loving)
-> I'm kind of a joke-dick, I like to make fuin of people in a completely joking manner, so if the girl does the same, or can roll with it and keep with the joke, that's so rad.

I went out with a bald girl.. without knowing she was bald. She had a wig, and for a while it wwas pretty convincing... I figured it out eventually...

-The ability to see beyond stereotype (if I were dating a punk girl, I'd want her to not just spout punk cliches, that sort of thing)
