some of you may know this already but ive finally found linkage to the myspace where dave markey and a few others are attempting to petition universal to get the punk broke dvd released.... click and become a 1991 friend!

I spoke to Dave Markey about this last year at his 'Desperate Cinema' festival. He still doesn't know exactly what's gonna happen with the whole DVD thing, so the best bet for now is to 'just get the VHS off of ebay or something'.

i spoke to steve last year about it and he said it IS gonna happen, legal shit tying it down but it will happen at some point!!

give some bonus footage (cause you know it's there!), some deleted shit (ditto plus!), all round give this shit the digi treament it deserves, and i'll (and some more, i'm sure!) buy that right up!!!!

FUCK that dvd. I want to see some real sonic youth footage. Why wont SY release one of their 81-83 shows??? they have a bunch of them........

yeah I would love to see a DVD of it. all I have seen are the shitty quality clips on youtube.
