Weird.

Springfield, Oregon was always where the inspiration came from, though. Flanders St, Quimby St, etc.

Nice little town, been there many times, there's an awesome swamp out near the Armory with walkways through it and a decent used bookstore (hopefully its still there) and a possible druid stone chamber that appears to actually be a double chamber with the back chamber filled in. Its a place someone with a small but steady independent income go live cheaply and do artistic work.
