New Smashing Pumpkins album is 100% shit

I haven't heard one note of it and I KNOW it's garbage. Kinda like the last Who album. Why do they bother?

I knew it would be before I even heard it. Corgan hasn't done anything interesting in a very long time.

No the album is OK.

I, also, haven't heard it or ever want to, but I know itr's fucking terrible. Based on the atrocious single (not to mention it's video... which was of the worst I've ever seen)... NEVER. They released some pretty good albums in the past (though I never listen to them anymore), they are nothing to me now.

The thing is, I have almost zero interest in new stuff by "vintage" artists, from the Stooges to the Who to the Pumpkins to Dinosaur to Sonic Youth, even when the stuff is good. I am much more interested in collecting their old stuff than in something new from them. And I'm much more interested in buying something good and new by a new band than anything new--good or bad--from a geezer band.

Sounded ok to me. Nothing really stood out, but at least it wasn't annoying.

Judging an album without even hearing it will always be stupid. Congratulations, hipsters.

Now I have heard the album but I still don't like it.
