drunken food
what do you enjoy when the hunger hits you?
pizza
what the hell is falafel? (ohh a rhyme! :) ) |
falafel is chick peas, herbs and garlic moulded into a cake and then fried.
yummy!!
they are turkish in origin and with veggies and yoghurt its just amazing.
if i can afford - pizza
otherwise cheese and bread |
Kebabs, or Felafel. The secret with kebabs is to have a bit of garlic mayo and a small amount of lemon juice on the meat. I learnt this from a Greek lady, and it has served me well.
Chips, with a pile of baked beans on top. Pizza comes a close second.
I love Pizza. But its usually Chips. In Cardiff we have a place called chippy lane which is near all the regular hangouts like metros and clwb ifor bach, so just out of convenience I usually end up with Chips when I go out.
Falafel. I love kebabs, but I try not to eat them if I can. Glice, the Greek lady is totally right, garlic sauce on a plain kebab is yummy. If I'm feeling lazy, there is such a prolification of instant noodle flavours out there, it's pure joy. This thread is too British, though.
Note that most popular drunken foods are carbs. Anyway, I cosign on the pizza.

I've just realised, the yanks are going to get terribly confused by the word chips. They'll be wanting to know why fries aren't on the list.
Pizza, preferably ham and pineapple.
