the magazine i work for is planning to do a "girls of rock" issue and they agreed i should do a piece on women involved in noise.

the thing is, i need high definition pictures of the following artists, live or posed, doesn't matter; of course, if you took the pictures, you will be credited. also, if you can point me to where (on the internet) i can find pics, please tell me, i'll try to compensate you:

No, when I toured with Overhang Party, Sachiko wasn't in the band yet. Yoshiko Morita was though, and she is a woman.
Still, all I have are crappy Polaroids from that time.

I have some very good pix of Lisou Prout with Costes. Don't know if that qualifies or not for what you are looking for. I also have quite a few photos of the electronic/noise artist Dolores Dewberry.

the thing is, i'm writing the article about women of noise, and those are the artists bands i'm going to talk about, i haven't heard costes, lisou prout or dolores dewberry, so i didn't include them on the list, i dunno, perhaps i can listen to them and integrate their work into the article, perhaps.

the thing is, i'm going to talk about sachiko's solo work with sinewaves and voice and mention her connection to other styles within the japanese underground, but not focus on overhang party as they are not really noise.

I guess Costes is more "performance art" than noise per se.

OK. No problem. That's the problem with 'pre digital' photos.
How hi res do you need them?
They're at 600dpi at the moment and blow up pretty big.
If there are any you like I could re-scan the negatives at a higher dpi.:)

I've got quite a few Lydia Lunch photo's (recent ones with Swans, Terry Edwards), and one of the sexiest Kim Gordon photos you've ever seen.
I'll look for them and pm you later.
Lydia's photos are extracted from crystal clear live video footage 720x576. I can scale them without losing any quality.
Guess you need them at 300dpi (printing resolution). What's the minimum size required?

Tokolosh: i need them on the higher resolution you can find, and also the biggest you can, the people from the magazine can scale them down if needed but i'm told this special edition is going to come out in special bigger size.

Nefeli: those would help a lot, especially the blood stereo ones.
