People who say humans are not meant to consume milk and cheese

Clearly ignore that we are one of the few mammals that are lactose tolerant post-infancy.

These are also often the people that ignore that we have canines.

atsonicpark 08.28.2007 03:13 AM

I wish more people would just be ignorant. Like, they would actually IGNORE things... I hate all these "Anti porn" "Anti meat" etc people.. It's one thing to not support something, but to ACTIVELY say, "YEAH, DON'T DO THIS!!!!!!" is about the dumbest fucking thing in the world. Hmph. People need to get fucking lives.

Try not to get too worked up about it. Different people hold different opinions, it really doesn't matter.

Just because we have canines doesn't mean we have to eat meat. If we don't want to, then it's a matter of choice. I don't want to eat meat, you do. It doesn't make me love you any the less.

Tokolosh 08.28.2007 04:07 AM

That's a good point you make there Spectral. I think it has something to do with a thieving instinct. Much like a tree iguana or wheasel stealing eggs. There's also a type of snake in Africa that suckles on a cow's tit when there's a shortage of water in the area. I loved milk when I was younger. Drank litres of it till I was 16 or so. Never touched it since. Cheese is a different story though. Mmmm.

sarramkrop 08.28.2007 04:09 AM

You guys should go out more.

Tokolosh 08.28.2007 04:13 AM

Look who's talking. He's been gone for one day this year, and thinks we all need to get a life. Hi cookie. :)

sarramkrop 08.28.2007 04:18 AM

I'm sorry?

Tokolosh 08.28.2007 04:25 AM

That Daniel and Geo Fuchs Andy doll in your avatar is gorgeous.

Better than this piece of shit.

sarramkrop 08.28.2007 04:32 AM

You better be nice to me and my avatar, but you know that, don't you?

pbradley 08.28.2007 05:10 AM

I'm not disagree but another anti- dogmatic vegan thread? Didn't we just do this?

macrodollar 08.28.2007 06:13 AM

What pisses me off is when ignorant fools go around saying that "veggies get no protein" and crap saying its an unhealthy diet when in fact the average veggie is more healthy than a meat eater. That is what starts me up on saying things like we have canines because meat was our only source of food during the ice age but is in fact not necessary at all.
Dairy is not *needed* either, but I'm not going to tell people to stop it since I eat too much cheese myself.

Crumb's Crunchy Delights 08.28.2007 06:22 AM

Trouble is not enough protein in diet without meat.

Thats my beef.haha

i just think its really...erm..."wierd" when people honestly believe that there is something wrong with eating meat.

It wouldn't be wrong if the animals live on a farm with enough space... but it's not allright if they don't have the freedom to walk around..

sonicl 08.28.2007 06:53 AM

Most vegans and vegetarians don't want to make any point, they just want to live by their own ethics. It tends to be meat-eaters who want to make points, they seem to feel that a vegetarian, simply by saying that he or she is a vegetarian, is criticizing the fact that they eat meat.

jon boy 08.28.2007 06:57 AM

what about people who are lactose intollerant?

I'm gonna disagree with your disagree.

Any minority way of life will have its extremists who feel that they have to force what they think down other peoples' throats. Following your logic, some moslems are terrorists, therefore all moslems are terrorists.

There's no need to advertise peoples' right to do what is the norm.

Magublafix 08.28.2007 07:10 AM

No this commercials are not for a company which produces meat it's only for meat. The people who make these commercials are from an organisation called AMA, which controls the quality of austrian meat...

I couldn't agree more. It's always the meat eating hippies that moan and groan. :D Wake up and smell the broccoli bum scratchers!
