I felt like doing something nice...
Here's a little live album of the great saxaphonist Anthony Braxton with the all-too-well known Wolf Eyes.

wow! thanks so much! i have been really wanting to hear this album.
repped! |
hey, glad I could bring a little joy to your day :)
|
bump, cause it's just a great album...
|
Fabuloso!
Will this be a good starting point for Braxton? |
I'd say so, especially for his more abstract stuff (which is a lot). He's done some straight forward jazz too. Of course, when I say "straight forward jazz" I mean more coltrane/colman/etc. type stuff. I also have an album he did with Derek Bailey I might throw up here today.

and..............
her it is :) http://www.sendspace.com/file/yy70tq I used send space this time cause badongo was being stubborn this morning. If you aren't familiar with sendspace, which I wasn't until today, when you click the link it makes it look like you have to sign up in order to download it, but the download link is at the very bottom of the page. |

but it really needs one's full concentration. thanks again the wolf eyes cd is amazing! |
That is true, it's definately not background music. Although I really don't believe in background music either. If it's not worth paying attention to while listening, it's hardly music at all. :)

thanks for sharing.

I love you yet again.
|
I do what I can :)
I'm also going to put up Robert Ashley's Wolfman tapes, but I'll do it in another thread so as not to cause confusion. |
You're too kind. Both these albums you've sent already are great.
|
Thank you, but I have posted it a while ago.
http://www.sonicyouth.com/gossip/showthread.php?t=10132&highlight=wolf+eyes+anthony +braxton It'd be great if you up Rober Ashley's tapes, though. I have been gagging for those. |
