the soundcheck/rehearsal stuff was surprisingly cool.

I bought it and I am watching it now.

See, I didn't buy it, I borrowed it from a friend. It was goddamn $20. I mean fuck.

I did buy all the super milk chan dvd's though.

I never got Super Milk Chan. I watched it a few times and just kept going to myself "what the fuck is going on?"

nirvana rocks! but i haven't got the dvd (yet)

its like good wine, we just had to wait years and years, though I thought that it was going to take so long that an entirely new medium for video reproduction would have come out... thank you courtney, for finally letting yr lawyers take their talons out of the vault. now can we please have the final recording session which gave birth to You Know Yr Right? it should have been in the crappy box set, but alas. Kurt Cobain's estate is nearly able to top Bob Marley, Elvis and Tupac in dead rock star annual sales..

this was okay, again, I don't see what the big deal with "unplugged" is. Take a charismatic noise guitarist like Kurt and have him play a bunch of covers and lousy originals ("Pennyroyal Tea" is not a good song by any stretch of the imagination). The only really cool songs are "Something in the Way" and "About a Girl". They really should do a "from the muddy banks of the wishkah" type DVD release where it's just live shit.. not like "Live! Tonight! Sold Out!" but like.. full concerts on DVD. That'd be great.

And OF COURSE it's not just Courtney making money off of this, a lot of people are making money off of it, I don't understand why people constantly debate this shit.. "it's just Courtney's attempt to make more money!" She's already a fucking millionaire, and so is pretty much everyone involved with Nirvana at all. So, get over it. Fuck.

Um, I don't know how true that is. At least I don't think she's currently all that loaded as one may assume. Courtney's many financial woes really began in 2002 when a judge dismissed her case against Universal Musical Group for fifteen counts of breach of contract because a seven year statute of limitations of artist rights was already expired. Based on this ruling, I'm not sure what she may be getting from the sale of the Unplugged DVD although it seems it must be something because obviously she must be entitled to some income going to the estate of her late husband, who owned, as it is well-known, a three-quarters share in Nirvana. In 2003, she lost several properties to foreclosure. She's being sued by a rehab center for never paying a bill for almost two hundred grand from 2003 and other similar lawsuits from various entities have followed. Courtney's mansion is rumored to be in foreclosure at this moment. If true, that means she never owned it outright. This year, she threatened to sue Saachi & Saachi and Doctor Martens for using a picture of Cobain in an advertisement. The agency and the shoe company decided to pull the ad, so she didn't get any money there either.

Ah, well, thanks for clearing that up...

I guess she technically should be a millionaire, she's just probably an idiot who wastes her money on drugs and shit. Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :/
