I don't listen to his music. I don't know him. I didn't know he even existed before I heard the news. So I'm pretty apathetic.

it's sad a person died... but at least they won't make horrible music for a while...... or at elast until they get a new guitarist.

they were supposed to play the 930 club the night he died, and i passed by there on the way to the Black Cat, and saw the safety cones out where the bus parks and no one was outside and it was far too early for the crowd to be let in, and thought it was quite odd

still not as stirring as the blood spattered car on Georgia Ave which the cops were checking out though

I just lost a bandmate, so I feel for these people even though I have no idea who they are and would probably not like their music.
And their band name sounds like a British sitcom.

I don't know any of their songs, but it fits in with that suicidal emo shit that young kids like. Something like My Chemical Romance times 10 I think.

I'm going to go ahead and guess this band blows ass.

i learned about them from an article in wireD mag a couple of years ago where they discussed how they had developed a following through myspace, sidestepping the record labels and even going on tour on a purely DIY thing. a pity their music was such crap, i guess that's a prerequisite to being myspace-famous. but anyway, it sucks to be dead.

i think the reason sidestepped the record labels is because they are in a middle of a lawsuit with victory records, so i don't think they can release anything on any other label.

moral of the story: don't sign with victory records and you won't die in your sleep.
