I'm feeling ill.

I saw bits of the London show on the 8 o'clock news last night and had to cringe. Terrible mistake.

And here I would've figured you had good control of your gag reflex. |
It's freezing cold and that gig got enthusiastic reviews. I want to die.

dude, the old farts that paid thousands to see led zepplein re-unite for what is like the 5th time probably have not gone to a rock show in over 20 years. led zeppelin proabbly rocked their geriatric colons clean.
ha ha! I mean, shit, John Bonham's son is 42!!!! |

Well, they are certainly not going to sound like they did on past tours, after all, there is no John, just son Jason, but I'm sure it isn't all that horrible. It doesn't seem all that fair to judge the entire show by a sound byte. Dave Grohl offered to be their drummer if they do tour. Led Zep fans call for world tour 4 hours ago Led Zeppelin fans are clamouring for the band to announce a world tour following Monday night's triumphant comeback gig. Guitarist Jimmy Page has already indicated that he would like to play more shows, but singer Robert Plant has so far appeared reluctant to commit. On the band's official website, fans urged Plant to rethink. "If the crowd response didn't convince Robert then nothing will," one wrote of the show at the O2 Centre in London. "Led Zep owe us a tour. Robert needs to start thinking about all the fans who love them," said another, while a third wrote: "I hope they will. There are so many of us who missed out on tickets for a concert we'd imagined for nearly three decades." But others said fans should be content with the one-off show. "You should be grateful that Zeppelin have given the fans so much already, and that they are able and willing to do one more show at their age," one said. The band are now taking stock and deciding whether to announce a full-blown tour. "Nothing is set at the moment because their energies were concentrated 100%t on the gig. But a tour has certainly not been ruled out and Jimmy has said it would be a shame not to do more," an insider said. Twenty million people crashed the website when details of the gig were announced. A lucky 10,000 got tickets for the show, the band's first full set in 27 years. The three surviving members - Page, Plant and John Paul Jones - were joined by late drummer John Bonham's son, Jason. The charity event was held in memory of former Atlantic Records boss Ahmet Ertegun, who signed Led Zeppelin. http://ukpress.google.com/article/AL...jMt2gd1Lj7eAgg ___________________ Most probably, Led Zeppelin isn't going to be embarking on any world tour, because Plant is already scheduled to tour with Alison Krauss and Union Station. |

You can say that again. http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=FiL1sjGIcew Like I said before, I have a bad feeling about this. |
once in a lifetime, people. i was still in my crib first time around - i don't care how good/bad they are now, i would still see it if i had the chance. they are one of the legendary bands of our time - i try to see any and all legends that i can.
i just saw van halen with DLR - i'm sure the show wasn't the spectacle it was in the '80s when i wasn't allowed to go, but i still marvelled at how talented the members of the band are at their age. i can't think of a better way to spend your golden years than on stage rocking out. more power to all these people. fuck the haters. |
tix for the Van Halen reunion show in Houston sold out in less than 90 minutes
|
I don't see the point in paying hundreds/thousands of dollars to see a band simply because they're "legendary". Especially when you know it's a gamble.
|
I like shows that don't require a high-powered telescope for viewing.
|
I hope they are still worshipping satan
