Oh mine was a good Christmas and I am so not into coming back to work today. On Christmas day I had friends around for lunch and I managed to set off the fire alarm in the kitchen, though. It was a good laugh. Yep, sorry to hear about that nicfit.

Did it hurt double for the Virgin Mary to spit out Jesus from her vagina? I imagine it would. But I'm not vagina expert.

Well, no big deal, I'm already better, thanks guys. The thing I missed the most of the "big family reunion lunch" was the "poetry intro", that's when my little cousin silvia stands on a chair and recites a christmas - related poetry, which always makes me laugh a lot coz she looks so serious ha ha. My hot tea kept me warm inside.

good as far as gifts. i got a wii (we've already all heard about that one tank girl, enough already...) and a new computer and i got like $1500 or so in cash and gift cards from various folks which i'm a little sketchy about carrying thru the airport later...i didn't get drunk enough to make an ass of myself either, which is a fucking christmas miracle. i am so ready to get the hell out of here and go back to new york though.

my dad is and my boyfriend's family is, but i got stuff from a lot of people, which adds up, let me tell you. and don't think i didn't do my fair share of giving, either. i got my nieces a kitten. you should have seen their faces when i brought it in.

i still hate christmas but i'm glad i made them happy, you know? i think i'm going to start being mostly good and giving money to the humane society and things like that. maybe i'll take up knitting.

I'm getting more like that in my old age, too.

So, what's in store for New Year's Eve, then?

new years we're getting a room at the chelsea i think because i don't like other people doing drugs in my apartment and we're gonna stay up all night and play records and it's gonna be great.

Couple of friends are having a bash at their place, but I think if we go we'll just make an appearance and drive home. Too many crazies out for me. Note: plus, I haven't been drinking as much lately (only had a bottle or so over xmas), and I'm quite liking the sobriety.

I'm going around to a friend's house who got recently engaged to another guy he met in Iceland, so they decided to have a New Year's Eve do to celebrate. Should be cool, but I am not sure what we're doing after that.
