NSA phone records scandel.
So what to make of this NSA telephone records scandel? First we have Verizon, Bellsouth, and AT&T reportedly complying with the NSA on their requests, with Qwest denying it took part, so says the big USA Today story. Then with the threat of lawsuits pending, and the legality questioned, Bellsouth and Verizon r now denying it. hmmm.
think it's possible that the NSA and Bush did this without the telco's knowledge somehow? or that the telco's may have been swayed by bush minions to go ahead with the request, but now want no part, and are afraid to admit they complied in fear of lawsuits etc? just another day in the bush era.. |
