Edwards quitting

watching stream @ Washington Post right now.

come on endorse Obama already

(doesnt look like he's gonna)

--

he spoke of "making the 2 Americas one".

getting subliminal?

Rob Instigator 01.30.2008 01:44 PM

the democratic party leaders have been fighting the candidates to ensure that they do not have a brokered convention. the republicans are trying the same shit.

I LIKE brokered conventions, where each state has it's main delegate stand up and read "The great and mighty state of Texas, with it's buxom women and it's well-hung men, with it's pecan trees and it's butthole surfer's rock n roll, has 23 delegates for Hillary Clinton and 87 delegates for Barack Obama"

and so on. I love these! this is the real politics that the parties try to avoid by having these long ridiculously expensive primary season. it gets longer every year which makes it easier and easier to go into the national convention knowing which person will get the nomination.

I wish edwards would stay in and make obama and hilalry work for it.

!@#$%! 01.30.2008 01:48 PM

yeah that would be fucking awesome, but they gotta show "unity" and what not. the way they do it the convention is just a huge PR and back-patting event. what's the point?

in any case. i got a really cool video yesterday, regarding the "progressive revolution" inside the democrating party.

http://www.pbs.org/now/shows/403/index.html

time to kick out the clintonistas and their jerking off the republican party.

(let's hope)

Obama's gotta start treating Hilary better if he hopes to have a shot at the v.p. slot.

Stranger things have happened.

You heard it first from gmku. Mark my words.

gmku 01.30.2008 04:10 PM

In either case, think of the P.R. Buttons could read either "O.H.!" for Obama/Hillary, or "H.O.!" for Hilllary/Obama.

davenotdead 01.30.2008 04:11 PM

when will Colbert/Stewart get in this? I honestly think they would surprise people... they'll have everyone under 30 for starters...

the ikara cult 01.30.2008 04:17 PM

You do understand that he's parody, right?
Sorry if I've just insulted you but from the tone of your quote it sounds like you think he's serious.
