Wow, that's so cool Danava is opening fo them. That's my friend Monte's band (he's the drummer). He had a great show on KPSU until the band comittment got to be too much to do both.

Although its not listed, I'm looking forward to seeing them at Terrastock this year.

Yeah, I was going to ask if any of the Portland boardies have a good word about them. I just checked out their stuff on their Myspace page or whatever....not bad. After a quick listen I'd have to say that my favorite song they have up would def. be Long Dance.

arrrrrrghhhh!!! Oh, well the festival is still packed with a lot of cool performers I have yet to and would love to see. I just wish that the acid collective from across the seas would be there also.

melt banana is amazing every time they go on stage. last time i saw em was in tucson and i was literally leaning on the stage right where agata was wailing on his guitar and slamming his effects, it was righteous!

ohh man! i can't wait! i'm supposed to hand out flyers at the m-b show but fuck that, i'll be at the very front of the stage the whole fucking time.

I can vouch for Monte as an awesome human being with amazingly good taste in music, but honestly, I haven't seen them play yet. Their recordings are o.k., but I get the feeling that they stretch out the tunes more live, from what I've heard. Everybody raves about them that I've talked to who's seen them.

yeah last time i went to their show i went way to early and none of my friends were there so i went to check out the merch table before i hit the bar. anyways, out of boredoms i kinda just asked the dude selling merch if i could help him out, he prolly didnt understand me but as i started selling shirts and stuff he figured it out. he then gave me two t shirts and agata's newer solo cd, i was wicked fucking stoked.
