Eurovision Song Contest
 

I've gotta go to a meeting now, but I'll start this running anyway, and then come back later for a look at the carnage.

We all know that the Eurovision Song Contest has no artistic value, but that said, please critique, without the use of foul language, your country's entry into the competition.

The British entry "Teenage Life" by Daz Sampson had interesting novelty value on the first couple of listens, but has now become hugely irritating. In the unlikely event that it wins, I shall be applying for Polish citizenship.

I dont think Italy has ever entered it as far as i know.As for the British entry,Chico would have done a more bombastic job tongue firmly into cheek.

Lordi rules and deserves to win purely for the GWAR topping outfits, axe microphone and pyrotechnic action.

funny, my girlfriend is writing a grad school paper on Eurovision and the political/cultural impact of it in Europe... i was looking at some of the research she did and read about Lordi...

Lordi should get 1st place.

My contribution to your girlfriend's paper is to report that Eurovision has NO cultural or political impact whatsoever in the UK. The TV presentation just takes the piss, and we watch it ironically and laugh at all the little backward nations like France ;)
