I feel there should be a 100 year moratorium on the usage of the word "juxtaposition," if only to send people running for their copies of Roget's Thesaurus when writing artists' statements or museum press releases.

This thread is so fucking juxtaposition.

I would add pretentious to this list... it gets used far too frequently when people can't think of anything else to say.

Pretentious goes in the list of 'insults that don't mean anything' (cf emo) as controlled by the Department for swearing, put-downs and correct protocol for pubs (Deswepdacopps)
