please recommend me a book for the summer!

I've been on summer vacation for almost 3 weeks now and i am going crazy!! I have no book to read! Someone please recommend me a very very good book. I usually like books that other people don't like, and i don't know why that is. I always think the books i read are awesome and that people would like them, but when i recommend it to them, they say they hated it! anyways the last book i read was Kiss Me Judas, and that was a long ass time ago. I haven't been able to find a decent book, and I haven't had time to read cause i'm always busy with school shit, but now it's over and i'm dying to read.........So Recommend Now!

The Bible.

Fineggans Wake.

Readers Wives vol 4, iss 39.

On a more serious note, Jean Genet is very good, as is Henry Miller.

I'm reading The Bookseller of Kabul right now. Its very insightful. Pick it up. You're only going to read one book, all summer?

Laila 05.22.2006 02:49 PM

okay Glice give me a book name by any of those two and i will look into it. Usually authors have books that are great and also books that are absolute shit, so give me a good one.

oh well i'm going to start summer school on the 5th so i might only have time for one.

I think we all agree....

Seriously though, if you really want a fun and exciting read get, The Sickness Unto Death by Kierkegaard.

Tough, and pretty unrewarding.
