I have seen Phish play 5-6 times.

It ruled every time.

I hate the grateful dead though. soooo much.

what's the punch line?

the punchline is that Phish personaly had nearly nothing in cokmmon with the grateful dead as musicians, but that the legions of stinky fucking hippies who could not go see the dead invaded phish shows and ruined a great thing.

I remember this one dude in my music appreciation class had us watch a phish video for some extra credit assignment. I was fucking bored to tears. I felt like doing the assignment myself and showing Blind Eyes Sees All but you also had to write a paper and talk about it, which is impossible in my eyes.

I see you as burned at the dead as I am at phish. this is so interesting, I never realized that other's persepective before. and yes, deadheads generally suck, but the music was fantastic, and if you even remotely like phish then you know you agree.
