anyone from serbian/croatian?

can you help me with the pronunciation of picka?

i realize that sounds retarded, but it's important.

edit... there are some grammar problems in the title. fuck. english surprisingly is my first language.

pokkeherrie 04.17.2008 11:41 AM

my uncle has a long history with serbian/bosnian women and i'm pretty sure it's "peetch-ka" (that's the best i can phonetically do in english)

but king_buzzo will correct me if i'm wrong i'm sure.

pokkeherrie 04.17.2008 11:59 AM

the pronunciation is definitely different to the slovakian "piča" though, which means the same... my friend _slavo_ will back me up on that. right, kokot?

girlgun 04.17.2008 12:04 PM

interesting. I wasnt sure of what the thing over the c did.

We are thinking of naming a shop that. Um yes.

_slavo_ 04.17.2008 12:05 PM

picka means cunt.

I'm not serbian nor croatian but our languages are similar. In slovakian it's pronounced pica.

and pokkeherie, you smradlavy kokot skurveny, you are very right :D You're not right about the pronounciation though, it's very similar indeed. You kokot.

girlgun 04.17.2008 12:09 PM

but in pica... Is that pronounced with a hard c? Like pika?

I know that it means cunt, snatch, honey pot and/or fur burger.

sarramkrop 04.17.2008 12:11 PM

I thought that it was a Polish word.

_slavo_ 04.17.2008 12:11 PM

no, no, it's pronounced like pee-tch-ah

and picka is pronounced as pee-tch-kah, as that kokot pokeherrie said.

that's what i meant, you kokot... in serbian it's pronounced with a "k" unlike in slovakian. that kurva _slavo_ should learn to read my posts more carefully. :)

I didn't know that. I assumed it was only Polish because I always hear them using it.

pokkeherrie 04.17.2008 12:24 PM

btw, i'd like to make it clear that i barely know 20 words in slovakian and a good number of those are curse words... in serbian i don't even know 5 words.

....but luckily picka happens to be among those!

but props to you because of that, you kurva vyjebana. who the hell would even think of learning slovakian? man, that's kind of cool.

sarramkrop 04.17.2008 12:29 PM

it is quite offensive (i.e. not spoken in TV and such) and means "whore" but not as nasty as pica ("cunt") or kokot ("dick" - probably the most offensive word in our language at all - as strong as cunt in English, I'd say).
