Ever heard of "Fan Death"?
 

I hope I'm not repeating a topic here.
There is an urban legend in Korea. Some people believe that if you fall asleep with a fan running, it can kill you.

Dude, yes. I heard a report on NPR a few months ago and was fascinated. It's so weird what people will actually believe. I saw a short korean video made by college students about fan death - it was like a warning movie - they actually believed in it.

If you put your hands into a running fan, you could die. I imagine if you dreamed that you had to put your hands into a fan and really did it (dreaming), you would die in your sleep. The pain might wake you up, though, no?

Shit, my mom used a fan all the time to lull me to sleep when I was a toddler. There's a fan running in the summer for the air conditioning when the little woman and me's asleep. This is bullshit.

I like the phrase, though. Fan Death. It has layers. A great band name, potentially.

This is actually true. I am in Bristol, and under 35, and I played ukelele with them for precisely 17 days. Consecutively, continuously.

I sleep with a fan on every night and have for my whole life. Just sayin'.
