holding back someone else's life?

I've felt that some people I know have held themselves back for other people but not because of me. I'm the only person that holds me back.

Like P Bradley, I don't think I'm holding anybody back, and certainly feel that the only person holding me back is myself - a job I'm doing incredibly efficiently, i have to say.

people always ask if i think they're holding me back. never has it been the other way around.

Nope. I've felt that people have held be back, but only as an afterthought.

yeah, i've realized way too long after ending friendships for various reasons that the whole time, they were just holding me back.

That's usually how it happens.

I don't know, I usually am extremely supportive of whatever my friends tell me they want to do, maybe too supportive, that's why I feel I've never held anyone back.

I don't think I have, and I hope I haven't.

To clarify my first post, I've been silent to friends that have held back by other friends. Though I assume they know they are being held back.
