Offically Barack Obama is the candidate for the Democratic Party to run in the general election. He was not my first choice to win, but I do like him over Hillary Clinton.

You guys need to learn about yr so-called "canidate of change". He's a member of the same Council On Foreign Relations as Dick Chenney. If you don't know what the CFR is, than I suggest you do some research. But in a nutshell, they're the master-minds behind this war we're in, & every other war we've been in. & ask yrself, if he's in w/ the same group as Dick Chenney, is he really gonna "change" anything?

I didn't say one word about Ron Paul, did I? Forget about Ron Paul for now, I'm talking about this bull-shit farse that every politician like Obama has kept repeating. That they are the ones for change, when in fact they are the same ones controling everything behind closed doors. I said it before, & I'll say it again, ANY candidate that says they are going to "Change" the way things are done, then they're really just saying, "Business as usual".

like that Who song?

But he's so pretty... Of course there are things that will remain status quo, but the big business interests that surround the Republican party are so ruthless when it comes to getting richer that they step all over everyone else. At least when a Democrat is in office, they try their best to help out people in the USA enough that we're living comfortably enough to ignore the huge problems like doing away with the Bill of Rights, the World Bank, and NAFTA. And the wars that they get involved with usually have far fewer casualties at least they have since after Vietnam ended. You never know. Perhaps he will surprise us all and try to really fix things. I just hope that he invests in a Popemobile. He's gotta be better than another Republican. |
what else should we do, vote for a third party?

It depends on which republican you're talking about, if it's McCain, then I agree. It'll be worse than Bush, but if you mean Ron Paul, then that's the exception. He's the only candidate, Democrat or Republican, to speak of the Bill of Rights & Constitution in his campaign. People need to understand, it DOES NOT matter which party a person is in. They are two sides of the same coin. They both would rather sell-out the American individual's rights & liberties, for a chance to keep building the American Empire around the world. I do agree w/ the fact that Obama is the more likely to get taken out. |
