there's some good improv in london (and some terrible improv too), plus the grime & dustep scene. plus some good bands, like pink marbles, sex friends, nos philipe, three shrewd prudes & the velvet velvet spicerack.

Sex Friends are overrated.

The most disturbing band I've ever seen live- the singer runs out into the crowd screaming in peoples faces and spazzing out and tripping, it's crazy. Nevertheless, they are actually doing something different and are always exciting to see.

Is it possible to hear the sex friends anywhere else than in london basements? I can't be arsed to wade through all the local dating services of london that google offers at an attempt to find recorded audio of the band.

London public toilets are occasionally utilized when they get tired of basements.

Circle Pit- Probably wrong to mention them as I'm now in the band playing moog and feedback fx but they were my favourite local band beforehand anyway. Pretty Royal Trux influenced. Heavy boogie rock maybe?
