My first pet peeve is they start with #1.
My second is that they're missing the points of some of the posters as fas as pop culture references and the like.
My Third is that I prefer some other posters for some of these films to the ones listed.

I would have rated Lost in Translation the lamest poster ever.

I think a great film poster is one that promotes the film, but also stands alone as a piece of art in its own right.

The ones for A Clockwork Orange and 42nd Street manage this but 90% of the ones on that list are just, well, nice I suppose.

i am also a bit surprised by some choices, but there are some great ones.

some of them are actually a bit disconnected with the atmosphere of the films in question...

while many of the ones you guys posted are very beautiful and interesting indeed, movie posters is something i would never bother worrying about.

Near the place where i work, there is a shop that has a big collection of this type of polish posters.

There are certainly some very good ones on that first list, not sure about all of them but hell who am I?

My God! Some of those Polish film posters are among the best I've ever seen. A few of them seem to have been done by the same person. Would love to know who.
