post a picture for my wall

ive got a massive front room in the house ive moved into and i want yr help to posterise. post pics, gig flyers, art, yr own art/whatever and ill stick it on my walls. preferably large JPEGS please, but small are ok too cos i can collage them.

i don't know how to measure in feet but the walls are huge in this room over
12 feet i think.

ill post the results as i go. it will prob take months and months to fill up every space with something cool but ive got a good printer.

EMMAh 07.20.2008 06:01 PM

You can use anything that's in my Flickr if you see anything you like. I'm not sure if you can view large sizes of mine, so just ask and I'll send you a big one.

That's if you're interested... :)

ni'k 07.20.2008 06:14 PM

EMMah could you send me a big version of this one please?

It's a great picture, I might try adding some text to it aswell if you don't mind. I'll let you see what it looks like when I do. If it doesn't work with the text idea i'll put it up without.

EMMAh 07.20.2008 06:15 PM

Yeah for sure, I'll just have to find it.

EMMAh 07.20.2008 06:20 PM

I believe it's 800x800, hopefully that's good enough?

ni'k 07.20.2008 06:31 PM

some of those photos are brilliant alex

but i could kill you for having the date function on :P

Alex's Trip 07.20.2008 07:20 PM

I like the date function!

I'll always remember when they were taken.

I don't know, it is just an aesthetic decision. I like the way they look. And I always use a whole role in one day. So it is like...documenting that day.

ithinkimissyou 07.20.2008 07:43 PM

Heh, it's entirely up to you - it's just a matter of taste :)

What film/camera are you using?

Alex's Trip 07.20.2008 07:53 PM

Just some cheap 35 mm Kodak stuff

The camera is old...like 1995? Pentax IQZoom EZY-R is the proper title.

ithinkimissyou 07.20.2008 07:57 PM

Ah it's a neat looking little job

If you were ever thinking of getting a 35mm SLR, I'd reccomend getting one of the old Pentax SLR's from the early/mid 80's. They're manual focus and built like tanks.

The Pentax MX, is really small even compared to modern SLR's, but it just keeps working. Doesn't need a battery for anything other than the light meter.

I picked one up for €100 a while back.

Anyway - most important thing, keep taking photos :)
