But seriously, I just got this snazzy widescreen monitor, and this line appeared out of nowhere. I can't stop looking at it. It has halted all my functionality.

I was disappointed when I clicked on this thread, by the way. On the front page it just says "I have a weird line down..." and as such I was expecting some kind of medical horror story or disturbing photography. Then I open it, and it's about Komputors.

The point of this thread was actually to see if anyone had any suggestions on how to fix this. Floatingslowly, it's a brand-spankin'-new monitor, so is it defective, or is it some kind of setting? It's some 21-inch widescreen bastard, so I don't know if I have to change display settings and all that. Komputors are not my forte.
